Mushroom Walnut Olive Spread

Cook one medium onion in 3T. oil for 5 minutes.

Add 1 lb.mushrooms, chopped fine Cook 5 minutes more.

Add:

1/4 cup white wine
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. Dried red pepper

In bowl, combine with:

1 1/4 cups walnuts
1/2 cup Kalamata olives
1/4 cup minced parsley
1/4 cups scallions
1 T. fresh thyme

Add 4 oz. Softened cream cheese. Add salt and pepper to taste.
