Quebec Chicken Breasts

Brown 4 large chicken breasts, dredged in flour, salt and pepper on both sides in 3 T. butter on high heat in heavy pan that can also be used in the oven.

Add 1/2 cup maple syrup and watch it bubble!

Sprinkle chicken with:

1 tsp. savory
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. sage

Put thin slices of onion on top.
Pour in 1/2 cup water and place in oven, bastin occasionally

Bake at 350 for 50-60 min.
