Hexagram 50: "ESTEEM"

THE 50TH YEAR OF ANY LIFE.. from the 49th to 50th Birthday.

ESSENE THOU COMMENTARY: And now, having completed seven cycles of seven years each in your chakra- development or Self-Yoga, there comes something QUITE unexpected indeed! Only the Hebraic traditions have a word for it, "Jubilee." In the fiftieth year of every life, suddenly Karma itself has paid for itself; and we are given a CLEAN SLATE to write upon for the rest of our lives. Now only the thirty-year cycle of Self-Replaying will really affect you.. for the Karma of the Chakra-cycles is simply overwhelmed by the power of this year's New Lease On Life. Last year, you shed the old skin of your formative life; now the Dream you nurtured for yourself in your twentieth year can actually come about as literal 'fulfillment.'

Study Hexagram 20, line by line, as a guide to your Inner or spiritual Life this year.. and remember that (though the actual EVENTS of your coming years will be based upon what your WANTED exactly thirty years before,) the lines of the Hexagram you lived thirty years ago depict your current Dreams (waking AND sleeping!,) as you live today what you WANTED so long before! Is Heaven not kindly indeed, to return even our un-attained Dreams to us.. made solid even after we had forgotten wanting them to come 'true?!'
