Anadama Bread

Bring to a boil:

2 cups milk
1/2 stick butter

Remove from heat. Cool. Add:

3/4 cups cornmeal
1/2 cup molasses

Pour into mixing bowl.

Dissolve 1 T. instant yeast in 3/4 c. water with 1 T. salt and add to bowl.


Add 1 1/2- 2 lb. bread flour. (3-4 cups)


Knead 5 min., adding more flour as needed.
