Mix together:
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup wheat flour
1 cup packed light brown sugar
2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 T.+ 1 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. cinammon
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. nutmegAdd and mix:
4 lightly beaten eggs
1/2 cup molasses
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
1 cup vegetable oil
2 cups currants or raisinsBake at 400 for 15-20 minutes.
