Cook 2 cups chopped broccoli in 1/2 cup water for 6 min.; save water.
Saute in 4 T. butter:
1/2 cup onion
1/2 cup celeryAdd:
1 T. flour
1 1/2 cup chicken brothCombine with broccoli.
Cool then Puree.
Return to heat and add:4 cups milk and or light cream combination
salt and pepper to taste
1/8 tsp. tarragon
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
